This question has been on our minds for many years, so in November 2016, Duane, Lora, and Roxie the Bichon took the leap, lightened our load of unnecessary stuff and expectations, and traded stationary life for life on the road in our home on wheels we named Freya. There have been challenges and we’ve learned some things the hard way. But mostly life on the road has been filled with adventure, natural beauty and a sense of freedom that wasn’t possible before. Will we ever go back to stationary life? That remains to be seen, but for now, we’re happy to continue our life of exploration and see no end in sight. Join us on our adventure with Freya On Nowhere Road. Expect us when you see us!

Our Vision

Lora and I, Duane, had been flirting with the idea of downsizing and simplifying our lives for a few years. Roxie? Well … as long as she’s still the Princess she’ll always be happy. We found ourselves in a unique position where our jobs where mobile allowing us to travel. So, we sold almost everything and bought an RV.

We’re now on a journey to learn more about ourselves and about living a more simple, less stressful lifestyle. We’ve been on this journey for more than five years and love it more today than when we started. One day, we could see ourselves settling down … then again, maybe we’ll remain forever mobile.

Meet Freya’s Crew

Freya’s crew is made up of three souls; the Admiral, the Captain, and the Seaman’s Apprentice. This crew of three can handle all the essential functions of our little vessel.
